Ollie Reed

Welcome to olliereed.co.uk.

This website is dedicated to the life and times of the late great Oliver Reed. We are here to celebrate the fact that Ollie lived his life the way HE wanted to. He would not milk the corporate cow which is the U.S film industry, despite numerous offers to do so.

We are not here as a reference point for Ollie's undoubted acting achievements - this is a personal mission, to celebrate the fact that in a world full of brainless sheep, there are still some people out there who believe that life and people are more important than money and possessions.

 Famous Ollie Quote
"You meet a better class of people in pubs"

As many Brits will be aware, the British film & TV establishment saw fit to virtually ignore his sad demise, as Ollie liked to do things his own way

We hope within these pages to provide a suitable means of tribute for those wishing to pay their respects to Ollie.

Ollie Reed as Bill Sikes in Oliver!

Our tribute is not intended to be a history of Ollie's life. Those seeking information on his achievements and biographical details should visit Reeding The Web where you may access such information.

We aim mainly to celebrate his life, and indeed life in general. After all, we are not here for long and in the words of the great man, "I like to give my inhibitions a bath now and then."

We hope that you enjoy your visit at olliereed.co.uk, and please don't forget to sign the Tribute Book.

Latest News:

As always, we visited The Pub when in Valetta during our holiday, I encourage everyone who can to go there at the moment as it is almost cut off by pedestrianisation work which has been dragging on and today there was no water due to the same work, this is putting major pressure on the owners and they need support to avoid becoming victims of bad planning decisions.

As you will see, this site was designed shortly after Ollie Reed died, and we are aware through our contributor, Chips that The Pub was under the ownership of Graham Rogers in 2006.
Welcome to the new Ollie Reed website. I hope that you enjoy the content.
